Blow the Fuse Jazz Club with Laka D
Charismatic vocalist, songwriter, “choir mistress from hell”, whose soulful voice was featured with The Guest Stars and Emma Peel Fan Club. Drawing on personal reworkings of a wide range of material from Mose Allison, Rupert Wainwright and Tom Waits as well as her own songs, Laka D is a gifted singer whose voice really connects with the emotional centre of a song.
