Keep walking along the Lea Navigation Canal from Markfield Park and in ten minutes you reach Springfield Park.
This is across the border in Hackney. It’s on a steep slope from Stamford Hill down to the canal and has a great selection of trees, because it was made from a C19 private estate with an existing arboretum, 100 years ago.
