The Judicial Review of the crap Grainger Plan for the Wards Corner site began today in the Royal Courts of Justice in the Strand.

The hearing continues on Wednesday, after which we should have a decision maybe soon, maybe in a few weeks.

It’s all on precedent and points of law. Many trees have died to save us. It felt like an hour was spent today on the crucial difference between ‘having due regard’ and ‘having regard’ to some information. Then  another hour on ‘predisposition’ vs ‘predetermination’.

Late extra – the case has run over to the evening.  Verdict hoped for in two to three weeks.
