London’s skies lit from horizon to horizon by spectacular firework displays:

So it must be back to backyards, cosy but with accompanying blindings and lost fingers.
This is from 400 feet up in Centrepoint, at the 30th anniversary party for Capital Gay, a weekly London paper through the 80s, which gave me some useful work despite being really for Da Menz. Fascinating viewpoint once I was convinced it wasn’t really moving in the wind – I would like to be there at dusk for better pics.
