Silver Reaction

At the Tate Modern today as one of the 400 participants in Suzanne Lacy’s Silver Action.  In groups of 4, we talked of what had got us politically involved and/or active. Of course there turned out to be points of overlap between us all. I am intrigued to know what will be the published result – we were filmed, blogged, iPhoned, tweeted, note-took, observed by an ‘audience’ who could eavesdrop at will.  Here’s Maggie Murray’s record of my part:

Silver Action, Tate Modern

Transcription – I hope they correct my grammar:

Silver Action, Tate Modern   …. months.

My red DMs came out well doncha think?

Southall Black Sisters were in a group of eight:

Silver Action, Tate Modern

All over, apart from the edit.

All over, apart from the edit.

Of course I’m now thinking of all the other vital things I should have got onto the record, and still more will pop up in the middle of the night.
