Poster Wars

You all know about our lovely billboard at Wards Corner:

Well it must have rattled someone’s cage, because we came out this morning to find it had been greywashed:

So finally they are speaking to us. Sort of.

Speculation about the identity of the vandals was rife. As the billboard has been rented at no small expense by the WCC for two weeks, this is an act of criminal damage, so we need to find out who to sue.

We have asked Transport for London, which owns the freehold of the Wards Corner site, if they can identify the vandals.

It was a proper professional job, not a man-with-van bit of flyposting. The grey paper is backed by blackout material:

The WCC Instant Response Unit was called out and engaged Them in dialogue:

Billboard mark 3:

If you can’t read the text, it says

DEMOLISH BUILDINGS

WRECK COMMUNITIES

STIFLE FREE SPEECH
